This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of essential accounting functions, including purchase order management, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on generalist with a solid accounting background, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Manage daily accounting activities such as journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, from purchase order processing through payment execution
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations on international transactions by processing and verifying customs documentation according to Italian and other relevant countries' laws
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure timely approvals, ensure accurate expense coding, and validate employee travel expense reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines
- Maintain well-organized financial records aligned with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
- Assist with VAT reporting and ensure adherence to compliance mandates
- Prepare data for periodic CONAI declarations and manage periodic Intrastat declarations
- Support annual audits by preparing documentation and ensuring robust internal controls
- Partner with the broader finance team to continuously improve process efficiency and accuracy
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Requisiti: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience within a manufacturing or operational environment Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable workflows Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills Knowledge of VAT regulations and Italian financial compliance requirements Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical abilities, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail Fluent in Italian with a working proficiency in English (mandatory) Titolo di studio minimo: Comune e/o quartiere: Modena e provincia
