We are looking for a skilled NVH and Torque Management Engineer to lead the development and optimization of rubber mount systems and rotational components. The role focuses on enhancing vibration isolation, torque control, and overall dynamic performance of vehicle systems.
- Define technical specifications for rubber mounts, including materials, rubber ness, and rubber-to-metal bonding.
- Develop and monitor manufacturing processes such as vulcanization, molding, bonding techniques, and curing parameters.
- Set and optimize process parameters to ensure product quality, durability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering and Quality teams to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and enhance product reliability.
- Support material testing and validation of rubber compounds to optimize vibration isolation and long-term durability.
- Conduct failure analysis of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Interface with suppliers for raw materials, tooling, and process technologies.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding manufacturability and process feasibility.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process reports and work instructions.
Requisiti: A successful NVH and Torque Management Engineer should have: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Experience in NVH analysis, torque management, and rubber component development in the automotive sector. Strong understanding of rotational dynamics, elastomeric materials, and bonding technologies. Familiarity with manufacturing process optimization and quality improvement tools. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
